Water People Theater STUDIO is our bilingual theatrical training program which is targeted toward both children and adults.
This program was designed with a concept of high artistic excellence and a strong commitment
to the ideals of inclusion, justice, and peace.
Our main purpose is to stimulate our participants’ desire to be better human beings, more qualified professionals and to develop their engagement with the community. The training for children has been designed to stimulate human, social, and environmental values.
The workshops aimed at youth and adults are created as a space to develop tools and techniques that enhance their talent, creativity, and theatrical skills. They also aim to activate profound engagement to create high-quality theater committed to human beings.

A series of workshops designed with specific dynamics and theatrical tools. The main objective is that participating children learn and develop social values such as respect for diversity, the difference of race, language, culture, solidarity, honesty, loyalty, peace, the harmonious relationship with nature and the environment, among other values.
To be able to award scholarships to children in extremely vulnerable conditions and bear witness to their emotional, creative and imaginative growth, represents the greatest achievement for WPT Online Studio Kids.
Water People Theater Studio is a theatrical bilingual training program and a human journey through the transformative power of theater. Our theatrical training program has an implicit conception of the human being and the world committed to respect for diversity, justice, and peace.
During the pandemic, we launched Water People Theater Online Studio. We carried out 8 workshops and 4 creative labs. 127 kids and adults participated from Chicago, Miami, NYC, Spain, Perú, Colombia, Argentina, and Venezuela.
We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous gift towards our fundraising campaign. We reached 38%. We won’t have our own space (yet!), however, your contribution assured us that we’ll be able to begin activities in Water People STUDIO with our first in-person creative lab this year. There will be many scholarships offered to children from underserved communities and/or those who have not been exposed to theater and art. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible.
