NEXT STOP: BRAZIL

Join Us as We Take the Stage in Brazil

As Water People Theater celebrates its 25th Anniversary, we are honored to share an important milestone in our artistic journey. Our award-winning production, The Delicate Tears of the Waning Moon, has been officially selected to represent Venezuela at MIRADA, one of Latin America’s leading international theater festivals, taking place this September in Santos, Brazil.

At this particular moment, representing Venezuela carries an even deeper meaning. It allows us to honor the strength, resilience, and creativity of a country that continues to move forward despite enormous challenges, while fostering dialogue through theater on an international stage. It also reminds audiences that Venezuela still needs the world’s attention and solidarity, and that neither should fade. We believe that culture builds bridges, inspires empathy, and keeps important conversations alive through art.

To make this journey possible, we invite you to stand with us. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps cover essential expenses not provided by the festival and allows us to share Venezuela’s artistic voice with audiences beyond our borders.
