Welcome to NOTI🎤KIDS News, an exciting bilingual theater workshop aimed at children aged 6 to 12! Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will embark on a thrilling journey into the world of journalism and broadcasting as they work together to create their own News program.
This unique workshop not only fosters creativity and imagination but also promotes essential skills including teamwork, verbal communication, and bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.
Each week, children will dive into various aspects of news reporting, including researching, writing, interviewing, and presenting. Through fun and interactive activities, they will learn how to express themselves confidently, collaborate effectively with their peers, and develop a deeper understanding of language and communication.
Whether they’re reporting on local events, interviewing different people nationally and internationally, or delivering weather forecasts, every session will be filled with excitement and learning.
The creative lab will culminate in a showcase event for families and friends, where the young reporters will proudly present their News program. This showcase will not only demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have acquired but also highlight the importance of using their voices to make a positive impact on the world around them. Through their creative exploration, the children will inspire others to join them in working towards a better future for both humanity and our planet.
